A pack of five standard ATO automotive blade fuses made by Littelfuse in your chosen current rating, in this case 20 Amps. Other fuse ratings are also available – see the coloured fuse rating list below for links to the respective product pages:1 Amp (black), 2 Amp (grey), 3 Amp (violet), 4 Amp (pink), 5 Amp (tan), 7.5 Amp (brown), 10 Amp (red), 15 Amp (blue), 20 Amp (yellow), 25 Amp (clear), and 30 Amp (green).
These standard blade fuses are the most common automotive fuse and are widely used in the majority of modern cars and motorcycles. They are also ideal for use with classic motorcycles and cars too and are available in a wide range of current ratings between 1 and 30 Amps to suit all applications. The fuses are rated for up to 32 volts so are suitable for classic 6V, modern 12V and commercial 24V vehicles.
When installing or replacing a fuse it is important to ensure that the new fuse is of the highest quality. Not all fuses are created equal, even if they look very similar. When you select a 5 Amp fuse you expect it to blow at 5 Amps, not at 3 Amps or 10 Amps. But how can you be sure that the actual fuse rating is the same as the current rating quoted on the label? The only way is to ensure that you buy only quality branded fuses in the first place. All our fuses are made by Littelfuse, the company who originally developed the ATO style blade fuse for automotive applications. They are therefore the highest quality fuses available – like all our products, we only sell the best!
These ATO blade fuses are directly compatible with the similar loking ATC fuses. The only difference between ATO (open) and ATC (closed) fuses is whether or not the fusible link is exposed to air. (ATC fuses are only required in applications where there could potentially be an explosive atmosphere). ATO and ATC fuses are identical in size and shape and fit within the same fuse holders. They are therefore completely interchangeable.
