Description
A pack of 20 pieces of the new two-way 3M Scotchlok wiring connections, as supplied with our range of LED light boards. These are genuine 3M connectors, not the substandard copies that are available in other stores and online auctions.
The model number of the connector is “UY2” and they are a two-way ‘pig-tail’ connector. In simple terms, they can be used to join two lengths of wire without needing to strip or solder the wires. The only tool required is a pair of pliers to depress the orange button which automatically strips and joins the two wires inserted. The connector contains a special gel to waterproof the connection and prevent rusting of the terminals for a long lasting and secure electrical connection.
An alternative is to use the 3M UB2A connectors (also available in our store) to provide an inline connection between two wires.
