Matchless in Hong Kong

The Hong Kong flag

I’ve just arrived in Hong Kong and my 1951 Matchless G3Ls is (I hope!) currently floating across the waters from India on it’s way to join me here.

So are there any other old Matchless (or AJS) motorbikes here at all?

Can anyone recommend a good local mechanic or know where I might be able to source some spares from?

If you are a Matchless owner (or owner of any other old bike for that matter), please get in touch by leaving me a message below.

James 🙂

    Hi James,

Just wanted to let you know that I’ve recently discovered your website and am loving it.  This summer I came into the possession of a 1949 Matchless G80S and your projects are basically a to-do list for my own bike.  You’ve compiled a terrific resource especially for those of us who are just getting started.

BTW, I don’t know of mechanics in Hong Kong but if you ever find yourself in Brooklyn, New York I can definitely point you in the right direction 🙂

    Cheers and keep it up,

    Dan

      Thanks Dan 🙂

Good luck with your G80 project – I’m sure you’ll have great fun with it.
